Bevin Creel, Organist and Pianist
Bevin was born in south Louisiana, the youngest child of a dairy farmer and his piano teacher wife. His mother was (and still is) a church organist for a small town Baptist church, and was at church every time the doors were open. He became the church pianist when he was twelve or so and has been playing in churches ever since, with a recent hiatus of several years. Bevin is a Genealogist by profession and lives on Capitol Hill in the District. He is also an avid weightlifter; an amateur runner; and an avid follower of the LSU Tigers.
Connie Rhodes, Music Director
Connie has over 30 years in church music ministry, starting with her first job as an organist at age 17 and working on and off through the years as a soloist, choir section leader, choir director, organist/pianist, and sometimes all three at once! She holds degrees in piano performance, vocal performance, and music history, and has sung with professional choruses large and small. She finds working with small churches with fewer resources to be the most rewarding work in the world.
When not working in church or in her day job as a stenographic court reporter, she is performing with Mini Musicals on the Move, rowing crew on the Potomac, and/or fostering stray kittens who happen into her yard.
